We are a family run operation; Real Estate has been a part of our lives for over 30 years. Joan Hewitt Jancsar obtained her license in 1989 to assist her Mom (Maxine Hewitt) when she was becoming more and more known as the Go To realtor in the area. Maxine retired in the mid 1990s and Joan took things from there becoming very well known from her hard work, broad knowledge base and dedication to her clients. Her back ground worked well to contribute to this industry with a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and has great experience with financial aspect with past employment as a credit service rep for commercial lending with Bank of Montreal from 1981-1986.
Joan was joined by her husband Dean S. Jancsar (who was licensed in 2003). Dean comes from a very strong agricultural back ground with a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph. Dean has been active in the agricultural community since the late 1970s operating a farm with Joan, working as a commercial lender with the Bank of Montreal and an agrologist with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce from the early 1980s to 1987.
During the 1990s Dean co-owned the Plattsville Grist Mill, a successful Purina dealership which served a large majority of south western Ontario. Af
